Little Knitted Bags

These are the little bags I knitted last summer in 2005. I gave them to my niece. They're just big enough to put a few crystals inside or a really small hand held toy. My niece puts her money in the white one.

My First Oil Painting

This is my first Oil painting I did last Saturday 31st December 2005. It was fun to do and I was pleased with the result. I had done better than I expected. Also there is so much room for improvement. I know the more I practise the better I'll become with the paints.
With this painting of the Vase, I followed this tutorial, which I found easy to follow. I was grateful for finding this tutorial as I needed something simple to do my first painting.

I decided to create this blog to keep a record of all the things I make. I love to creat Rag Dolls and give them as gifts. I am on my sixth one so far. They make special gifts.
